What we collect

BotMatches collects the email address and alert preferences you submit when you ask for notifications. We also receive standard server logs needed to keep the service secure and available.

Alerts

Alert signups require confirmation. Pending signups expire after seven days. We do not sell alert subscriber data. Notification delivery may use a transactional email provider.

Event sources

Event records retain source URLs, retrieval times and evidence metadata so published information can be checked and corrected.

Your choices

You can request correction or deletion of your alert subscription by contacting the BotMatches operator through the project’s configured support address.

Changes

We will update this page when the service or data practices materially change.
